Toothed crankshaft pulley

Removing the crankshaft pulley in the following order:
- Remove the connector from the solenoid valve stop the engine;
- Remove the accessory drive belt;
- Set the number 1 cylinder piston at TDC compression stroke (see. Sect. 3.3.3);

Details Timing
Fig. 3.64. Details of the timing: 1 - the lower timing cover; 2 - the crankshaft pulley; 3 - accessory drive belt; 4 - bolt crankshaft pulley; 5 - bolt crankshaft pulley; 6 - toothed timing belt; 7 - a tension roller toothed timing belt; 8 - a bolt of fastening of a tension roller; 9 - the bolts of the upper timing cover; 10 - the upper timing cover; 11 - Back Cover timing; 12 - Rear pump mounting bracket; 13 - pump; 14 - front bracket fuel pump; 15 - a gear pump pulley; 16 - a pulley of an intermediate shaft; 17 - a bolt of fastening of a pulley of an intermediate shaft; 18 - a gear pulley of a cranked shaft; 19 - the lower timing cover (for the fully closed actuator); 20 - the upper timing cover (for the fully closed actuator); 21 - Back Cover timing (for the fully closed actuator)

- Remove the pulley 2 (see. Fig. 3.64) of the crankshaft;
- Remove the toothed timing belt (see. Sect. 3.3.4);
- Loosen the fastening bolt 5 of the crankshaft pulley and remove the pulley 18. It is necessary to block the crankshaft from turning. On vehicles with a manual transmission including the fifth gear and brake the car parking brake with automatic gearbox - remove the front cover of a transmission and a screwdriver or pry bar to lock the crankshaft of the flywheel.
Install the crankshaft pulley in the following order:
- Clean the mating surface of the pulley and the crankshaft;
- Set the toothed pulley 18 (see. Fig. 3.64), the protrusions of the hub of the pulley groove to the crankshaft;
- Tighten the mounting bolt 5 sprocket to 90 Nm, then turn it to an angle of 90 ?;
- Set the timing belt timing (see. Sect. 3.3.4);

- Check the combination of adjusting labels: the flywheel (see. Fig. 3.61), the camshaft pulley (see. Fig. 3.5) and the injection pump pulley (Fig. 3.67);
- Establish covers 19 and 20 (see. Fig. 3.64) timing;
- Set the pulley 2 of the crankshaft;
- Set the belt drive auxiliary units 3 and adjust its tension.
