Overview
Diesel engines are four-stroke, four-cylinder, in-line, water cooling installed transversely in the engine compartment. All engines except the model 1Y, equipped with a turbocharger. Engine AFN, installed on later models, not structurally different from the 1Z. The crankshaft is mounted on five main bearings. The central bearing mounted persistent half rings, by which regulate the axial play of the crankshaft. Timing is carried out by means of the toothed belt from the crankshaft pulley. The same belt driven in rotation and the intermediate shaft, which in turn results in gear oil and vacuum pumps. The force of the cams of the camshaft is transmitted to the valve through a hydraulic tappets, which automatically compensate for thermal gaps. Without removal of the engine from the vehicle can perform the following work: - Removal and installation of accessory drive belt; - Removal and installation of a camshaft; - Replacement of the camshaft oil seal; - Removal and installation of the camshaft pulley; - Removal and installation of the water pump; - The replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft; - Removal and installation of the crankshaft pulley; - Removal and installation of the cylinder head; - Replacement of support of the power unit; - Replace seals the intermediate shaft; - Removal and installation of the oil pump; - Removal and installation of the oil pallet; - Removal and installation of the timing belt tensioner.
