Fuel Injection System
Electronic injection MAZDA 323 injects fuel into the intake pipe to the intake valves depending on engine state. Fuel is drawn from the tank and the electric fuel pump is supplied through the fuel filter and the distribution manifold to the fuel injection valves. Air is sucked through the engine air filter and the intake manifold is measured and the air flow meter. The air flow meter body is flap which deviates the air flow. Damper position serves as a parameter to determine the air flow. The corresponding signal is supplied to the control unit of the valve potentiometer. Control device in accordance with the amount of air and the engine speed adjusts the time of injection. With longer opening injection valve in one revolution of the crankshaft injected more fuel. The control unit is in the body in the car of the center console. Additional sensors and elements ensure the correct air / fuel ratio in all situations. - Air flow meter is located directly on the air filter. He reports to the control device the instant amount of air.
- The throttle position sensor is located directly on the damper shaft. He reports to the control unit throttle position at the moment. The control unit on the basis of data obtained from the airflow meter and the throttle position sensor, determines optimal amount of fuel at a suitable degree of load.
- The regulator Idle (solenoid valve) regulates the flow of air in the environment of the throttle. Because of this the engine speed is stabilized, especially in the heating phase.
- Lambda sensor (oxygen sensor) measures the oxygen content of the exhaust gases and sends a corresponding electrical signal to the control unit. Based on this, the control unit changes the composition of the working mixture, so that the exhaust gases optimally afterburning in the catalytic converter (catalyst).
- The temperature sensor measures the temperature of the coolant in the cylinder head. It transmits the data to the control unit. The control unit coordinates the ratio becomes a temperature, whereby the engine operates stably at all temperatures.
- Fuel tank vent valve is controlled depending on the state of the engine. Evolved fuel vapors in the tank accumulated adsorber with activated carbon and discharged through the valve on the post-combustion. Due to the adsorption with activated charcoal, gasoline fumes mainly used usefully and not released into the environment.
