A warning

Instead of the thermostat (36) and the regeneration valve (51), engine type 202 (C-class) is equipped with a diverter valve, which is directly controlled by PMS-regulating device.

Fuel from the fuel tank is absorbed and the electric fuel pump is supplied to the injection valve through the fuel filter and the distribution pipe. The pressure regulator on the distribution pipe maintains a constant pressure in the fuel system, depending on the vacuum in the intake pipe. The valve injectors electrical systems and fuel injection is carried out periodically pushes the inlet tube to the inlet valves. This valve injectors are controlled semi-sequential, ie for each revolution of the crankshaft at the same time alternately injects respectively, two valve injectors. If faults in the ignition system is switched off to protect the catalyst corresponding group.

Air is drawn through the engine air filter and intake line. The vacuum in the intake manifold sensor is recorded and provides a measure of the amount of let in number. Since the vacuum is dependent on the position of the throttle (accelerator pedal position), the amount of air let in is the criterion of the actual engine load. Therefore, this control system is a P-control, where "P" is a physical value of pressure.

The control system in accordance with the frequency of the vacuum and the motor shaft controls the injection time and thus the amount of injected fuel. With a relatively prolonged opening of the injection valve is injected more fuel. An additional sensor and actuator in extreme driving situations and take care of respectively measuring the amount of fuel.

The control unit controls fuel injection engine speed during idling by means of its setpoint, which regulates the amount of air during idling around the throttle valve. This ensures a constant engine speed at idle, regardless of whether connected direct additional consumers, such as servo steering or air conditioning compressor.

1. Multi-plug (side car)
2. Multi-plug (on the side of the engine)
83. The pipeline to the intake manifold, which is under vacuum
R16 / 7. Alignment plug to harmonize fuel
X12 / 3. Terminal 15 connecting pads without fuse

The engine control device (N3 / 6) located in the engine compartment on the left side.

The fuel pump relay (27) supplies the electrical fuel pump. The safety circuit interrupts the current as soon as no more pulses of the rotational speed, for example, if the engine has been stopped. The relay is located in the luggage compartment on the right side; 1 - battery.

An oxygen sensor (lambda probe) measures the oxygen content of the exhaust stream and sends appropriate signals to the voltage controller. Thereafter, the control device so controls the injection quantity of fuel, which optimally afterburned exhaust gases on the catalyst.

Temperature sensor measures the intake air its temperature, the second temperature sensor to the controller housing coolant changes the temperature of the latter.

Solenoid valve for venting a fuel tank is controlled depending on the engine operating condition. The released fuel vapor trapped active carbon filter and the valve are supplied to the combustion. Therefore, due to the filter filled with activated carbon, most of the fuel vapor is used efficiently and not released into the atmosphere.

On the flywheel (1) and the intake camshaft wheel mounted inductive sensors (L5). They transmit information about the actual engine speed and crankshaft positions to the control device of the fuel injection.

Ignition system no longer has any moving parts and therefore the structure until the spark plug is not subject to wear. If you turn off the engine compartment (pull) equalizing mains plug, you can refuel lower quality. If you again to refuel with gasoline for cars with high performance engine (octane number 96-98, at least 95 ROZ), then again Push equalizing mains plug.
