Check devices

Before driving, always be considered as evidence in the instrument cluster (the composition of indexes depends on the modification of the vehicle). When the ignition is turned all the warning lights should illuminate. This is a check of serviceability of lamps. After a few seconds (4 lamp system SRS, with 30 for the rest) or after starting the engine the lamp should go out, otherwise you need to find the cause of the fault. Such verification, especially when buying a used car, can detect possible faults, they indicate the last warning lights.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
"Daily"
1. Coolant temperature. With a few exceptions (uphill with a trailer, fuel with lower octane) arrow should be out of the red zone. Starting from +130 ? C coolant begins to boil.
2. Index the coolant level. If the warning light does not go off, load sensor in the expansion tank or radiator tank top. It is necessary to top up the coolant (after the pressure drop). When shortly thereafter the lamp lights up again, check the tightness of the system or the appropriate sensor.
3. The index of temperature of the ambient air. The temperature detected by the sensor located under the bumper, and is reflected in the instrument cluster. Indications are dependent on the speed and the time since the engine stops. If the vehicle is stopped, the temperature increases is stored last reading. Indications begin to change only after a certain period of time. The drop in temperature is recognized without delay.
4. Check indicator lamps. Both pointers in the instrument cluster and the lamp switch alarm should simultaneously flashes when the turn signal. When towing a trailer must also flashing warning lamp indicator lamps.
5. Flashing light system ASR and ETS. The pointer on the speedometer should light while driving only if on a slippery road revolving wheel.
6. Speedometer. A few meters after the start of the arrow should start to move. Cable drive the speedometer in the car missing.
7. The odometer and the counter of daily run. Both pointer should change readings while driving. With the ignition on to reset the counter of daily run, click on its button once, with the ignition off - twice.
8. Tachometer. The device displays the speed of the engine crankshaft. Avoid contact with the pointer in the red zone (in excess of the maximum frequency).
9. Electronic clock. Handle right hand side of the instrument cluster.
10. On indicator beam. When signaling the main beam or when the high beam indicator should light blue.
11. Oil level indicator. If the engine is running and the oil temperature over +60 ? C lights up the pointer to the symbol oilers, oil level has fallen to the lower-her mark on the oil level dipstick.
12. The control lamp of brake system. Red sign with symbol brake pad lights up when the parking brake and an insufficient level of brake fluid in the reservoir.
13. Indicator of liquid level in the tank washer. Lights up when the tank is about 1 liter of fluid.
14. The brake pad wear indicator. It lights up when braking, when the front brake pads are worn. On vehicles with ASR wear sensors are installed on the rear pads. If the wear pads they touch the brake disc, the pointer gets Circuit to the "masses."
15. Control lamp battery charging. After starting the engine lamp with the battery symbol extinguished. Otherwise, the battery does not get charged or is broken alternator belt. Immediately stop the engine if the lamp does not go out even when lightly pressed on the accelerator pedal.
16. Control lamp serviceability outdoor lighting. A yellow sign with the symbol of a lamp lights up at faulty outdoor lighting. Stop and check, if necessary, replace the bulb.
17. Control lamp system SRS. It should go out after testing the system when the ignition. Otherwise, there is a fault in the airbag and seatbelt tensioners.
18. Control lamp systems ABS, ASR, ETS. If the lamps are lit when the vehicle is moving, the corresponding system is out of order. Spend on the station workshop diagnostics corresponding controller of the fault codes and consult repair.
19. Indicator preheating. When the ignition lamp lights while the engine is ready to start. If the lamp is not lit, the pilot light is faulty.
20. LED rear window defogger. The lamp switch on the center console should light up when switched on.
21. Control lamp rear fog lamp. When pulling the light switch in the two positions in the middle of the lamp should light up orange.
22. Seat heating. The light should be turned on when the switch-off of the system.
