Removal, installation and adjustment of the tension of the V-belt drive generator



On vehicles with engine M 102 water pump and generator are driven by a V-belt.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect "weight" from the storage battery.
  2. Release nut bracket bolts of the generator.
  3. Move the generator to the engine by releasing the upper bolt of the generator to a tension lath.
  4. Remove the belt.
  5. To install the belt, move the generator away from the engine and tighten the upper bolt of the generator to a tension lath before the deflection of the belt by pressing the thumb equals 1 cm, or adjust the belt tension device Krikit.
