Valve gear

Drive verhneraspolozhennyh (SOHC and DOHC) camshafts is carried out single-row (motors M 102 and M 123) or double row (motors M 110 and M 115) chain.

Circuit voltage is regulated hydraulic tensioner with locking.

Cover camshaft drive of an aluminum alloy.

Timing

Calculation of the valve timing is a zero-gap estimated valves and valve lift of 2 mm.

In parentheses are the values after a run of 20000 km.

Camshafts

Five- (motors M 102 and M 115) or semioporny (motors M 110 and M 123), a hollow camshaft. The front end of the shaft is closed bolt sprocket and the rear - steel plug. The oil in the channel of the shaft passes through the groove and the hole back support and provides lubrication of the support shaft. At the end of the flange on the shaft sprocket stamped digital label.

Features camshafts

Pulling the supply chain can be compensated by moving the camshaft sprocket.
