Vacuum brake booster



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. On carburettor engines amplifier can be removed without removing the intake manifold and cylinder head.
3. injection engines for access to the amplifier is necessary to remove the intake manifold.
4. On carburettor engines remove the air filter (see Fig. Subsection 6.1.2).
5. Disconnect the power steering pressure sensor, remove the power-steering hose bracket.
6. Remove the master cylinder to the vacuum amplifier.
7. Disconnect the hose of the vacuum amplifier.
8. Disconnect the pushrod from the pedal, and remove the four screws securing the bracket to the amplifier.
9. Remove the amplifier from the engine compartment.

A warning

Do not damage the brake booster stud threads.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The amplifier is installed in reverse order.
2. Before installation, check the protrusion of the pusher above the amplifier housing.
3. For vehicles without ABS-system, adjust the position of a pusher of the main cylinder, putting the size of A.
4. The manifold and the master cylinder is installed in c under subsection 6.2.14 and subsection 11.10.
5. When the brake pedal to adjust.
