Cylinder head - assembly



1. Ensure clean the cylinder head.
2. Install support washer.
3. Fit the guides on the new oil-removable caps with special tool or device (see photo). The rotation of the caps is not allowed in the press-
4. Lubricate the valve stem oil for the engine and set the first valve. Set the bowl and crackers and check the height of the spring in working condition (ie, the distance between the base plate and the bottom surface of the plate in the closed position of the valve, photo). If necessary, adjust the height of the installation of additional support washers.

5. Remove the bowl and crackers and install both springs tight winding down (see photo).
6. Squeeze the spring and establish crackers. If necessary, grease crackers grease to temporarily mounted on the valve stem (photo).
7. Similarly establish other valves. Again, check the height of the spring (photo) and adjust the support washers. Do not install extra support washers if the original height of the spring in working condition correct.

8. Install the camshaft with roller rocker arms and pushrods (on engines V6).
9. On 4-cylinder engines adjust backlashes in valves, set the clearance for a cold engine.
