Engine - removal and installation



1. On cars with the formula 4x2 engine is removed along with the CPR. On vehicles with a 4x4 formula Gearbox (transmission) is disconnected from the engine, and is secured on the car.
2. Remove the hood, the air filter and battery.
3. Drain and oil from the engine and a check point.
4. Remove the radiator hoses, label and disconnect all vacuum hoses and wires.
5. Disconnect and plug the fuel lines. Remove the power steering pump and compressor, take aside, without disconnecting from mains.
6. Disconnect the throttle cable.
7. Disconnect heater hoses, remove the bracket pneumatic valve with bulkhead.
8. Lift the front of the car and disconnect the wires from the starter and generator. On V6 engines, remove the starter.
9. On cars with automatic transmission disconnect hoses from the cooler at the bottom of the radiator and drain the liquid.
10. Remove the heat sink and housing.
11. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a collector.
12. Remove the transmission clutch slave cylinder, disconnect the cable of a manual brake and take aside.
13. On cars 4x4: Disconnect front propeller shaft and half-axis (Ch. 9), remove the 5 bolts and lower the front gear in the crossmember, disconnect the transmission from the engine (or unscrew the torque converter bolts) (Ch. 7).
14. On cars 4x2: Disconnect the PTO shaft (Ch. 9), perform all work on the disconnection of the transmission, to loosen the screws (Ch. 7).
15. Attach the hoist to the hooks on the cylinder head and hang out the engine.
16. On 4x4 vehicles, unscrew the bolts back support of the gearbox to the frame.
17. On 4x2 vehicles, unscrew the bracket bolts to the transmission body, then otvernite bracket bolts to the transmission.
18. Remove the bolts from the front support bracket to the engine block.
20. On 4x4 vehicles, lift and slide the drive forward to disengage from the transmission. On 4x2 vehicles, tilt the engine and get out of the engine compartment (see photo).
21. To remove the automatic transmission in cars 4x2:
Remove the bottom cover.
Remove the torque converter bolts. Remove transmission.

22. To remove the manual transmission in cars 4x2:
Remove the bolts clutch. Remove the check point, not allowing her weight to perceived primary shaft.
23. Installation is performed in reverse order. On 4x4 vehicles, lubricate clutch sealant.
