Check the air pressure in the tires. Tyre pressure should be checked monthly or before a long trip. It shall conform to the values given in the Table. 1.3. During the test tires must be cold. It is necessary to check the pressure in the spare tire.
Checking the status of the tire. Tires wheels must be replaced when located in the lower part of the tread special signs of deterioration as a result become equal to its outer surface. The position is indicated by a triangular indicator mark on the tire sidewall.

Shift of wheels. When appreciable wear of tire treads of the front wheels is recommended to swap the front and rear wheels (Fig. 1.47). This will provide the same service life of tires.
