Repairs

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before disassembly, measure the clearance between the side gear and the satellite.
2. Dismantling spend in the sequence designated in figures in drawing.
3. Check the condition of all details and, if necessary, replace them.
4. Removal of separate parts below.
5. The assembly is carried out in reverse order of removal.
6. Installation individual components listed below.

Notes on dismantling

Removal of bearings of differential

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Special adaptation OK130 and OK130 92 375 175 A18 remove the bearing from the side opposite the driven gear.

A warning

Do not remove the ball bearings unless it must be replaced.

The inner ring of the bearing semiaxial
A warning

Be careful not to drop a differential box.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Special adaptation OK130 175 aa0 remove the inner ring of the bearing of the half.

Bearing on the crown wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Special adaptation OK670 990 aa0 remove the bearing from the driven gear.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check the condition of all the components of the differential and, if necessary, replace them.

Driven gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Inspect the ring gear driven gear for wear and cracks.

If replacement parts, adjust the bearing preload.

Bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check the bearing on absence of damages and smoothness of rotation. If the bearing is removed, replace the bearing rings and adjust the bearing preload.

Preliminary checks

Backlash side gear and satellite

Measure the backlash as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the left and right drive shafts in the differential assembly.
2. Place the drive shafts on V-shaped supports, as shown.
3. dial indicator, measure the backlash.

Backlash: 0-0.1 mm

4. If the backlash exceeds admissible limits, replace the damaged and worn parts.

Notes on assembly

Bearing on the crown wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Special adaptation OK130 175 A12 establish the new bearing on the crown wheel.

Bearing on the opposite side of the driven gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the speedometer drive pinion.
2. Special adaptation OK130 175 A12 establish the new bearing on the side opposite the driven gear.

Cylindrical pin

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Install the new cylindrical pin, as shown in the figure to fix an axis of satellites.

Check the play between the side gear and the satellite

Measure the backlash in accordance with the following procedure:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the left and right drive shafts in the differential.
2. Install the drive shafts in a V-shaped blocks, as shown in the figure.
3. dial indicator, measure the backlash.

Backlash: 0-0.1 mm

4. If the backlash exceeds admissible limits, replace the damaged and worn parts.
