15 - biscuit lock synchronizer;
16 - the coupling hub synchronizer of 1st and 2nd gear.

Preliminary checks

Axial backlash gear 1st gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the clearance between the first gear transmission and drive gear differential.

Nominal backlash: 0,05-0,28 mm

Maximum permissible backlash: 0,33 mm

2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the first gear transmission pinion differential and the clutch hub synchronizer of 1st / 2nd gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.

Axial backlash gear 2nd gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the clearance between the gear 2nd gear driven gear and third gear.

Nominal backlash: 0,18-0,46 mm

Maximum permissible backlash: 0,51 mm

2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the gear 2nd gear, driven gear 3rd gear and the clutch hub synchronizer of 1st / 2nd gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disassemble the secondary shaft in the sequence shown in Fig.

Bearings and driven gear 4th gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Using special tool OK130 175 008 remove the bearing and the counter shaft 4th gear.

Driven gear 3rd gear and gear 2nd gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the retaining ring.
2. Turn on the 1st gear.
3. Using the special adaptation OK130 175 008 remove the driven gear 3rd gear and 2nd gear transmission.

Coupling hub 1st and 2nd gear assembly, synchronizer ring 1st gear and gear 1st gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the retaining ring.
2. Using a press, remove the coupling hub 1st and 2nd gear assembly, synchronizer ring 1st gear and gear 1st gear.

Bearing (secondary shaft end)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
With the help of special tools and aa0 OK201 172 930 175 OK aa0 remove the bearing.
