Preliminary check axial clearance gear 5th gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1 micrometer to measure the axial clearance gear 5th gear.

Clearance: 0,10-0,22 mm

Maximum permissible backlash: 0,27 mm
2. If the backlash exceeds maximum permissible, you should check the contact surfaces of gear 5th gear and the clutch hub. Replace worn or damaged parts.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the components of the fifth / reverse gear and back cover in the sequence shown in the figure.

Unscrewing the lock nuts

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the gearbox on the stand OK130 990 007 with adapter OK130175011A.
2. adaptation OK201 323 021 lock the gearbox output shaft.
3. Simultaneously turn on the gears of the 1st and 2nd gear to not turned the gearbox output shaft.
4. Peel back the shoulders plates, locking nuts.
5. Remove the retaining nut from the primary and secondary shafts.

Removing the shift fork and shift rod assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Align the ends of the lock-up clutch and a control lever (arrow). Rotate the shift rod clockwise.
2. With one hand, grab the plug of switching of 1st and 2nd gear, and the other - a plug of switching of 3rd and 4th gears at the same time raise both the fork and push each of the clamps the clutch hub.
