Dismantling of a primary shaft of a transmission

Disassembly of the primary shaft of a transmission

1 - the bearing (gear side 4th gear);
2 - a gear wheel of 4th transfer;
3 - ring of the synchronizer of 4th transfer;
4 - a lock ring;
5 - coupling hub 3rd and 4th gear assembly;
6 - ring of the synchronizer of 3rd transfer;
7 - a gear wheel of 3rd transfer;
8 - Bearing (primary shaft end);
9 - a primary shaft;
10 - a spring latch biscuit synchronizer;
11 - sliding sleeve of the synchronizer of 3rd and 4th transfers;
12 - biscuit lock synchronizer;
13 - the coupling hub 3rd and 4th gear.

Preliminary checks

Gap gear 3rd gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the clearance between the gear 3 transfers and a gear wheel 2nd transfers.

Nominal backlash: 0.05-0.20 mm
Maximum permissible backlash: 0,25 mm

2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the third gear transmission gear 2nd gear synchronizer sleeve and the hub of the 3rd / 4th gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.

Gap 4th gear transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the clearance between the gear 4th transfer and the bearing.

Nominal backlash: 0,1-0,37 mm
Maximum permissible backlash: 0,42 mm

2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the gear wheel of 4th transfer and the bearing sleeve of the synchronizer of 3rd / 4th gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disassemble the input shaft in the sequence shown in the figure.

Bearing (gear side 4th gear)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Using a press and special adaptation OK930 175 aa0 remove the bearing from the shaft.

Coupling hub 3rd and 4th gear assembly, a ring of the synchronizer of 3rd transfer and gear 3rd gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the retaining ring.
2. Use the special tool OK930 175 008 remove the coupling hub 3rd and 4th gear assembly, a ring of the synchronizer of 3rd transfer gear and 3rd gear.

Bearing (primary shaft end)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Using a special tool OK670 990 aa0 remove the bearing.
