Replacing the oil seal of the differential car



Extend the jack and secure it on the safety supports. Drain the transmission oil.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the mudguard.
3. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the lower arm.

A warning

Do not damage dustproof covers.


4. Remove the coupling bolt and push down the lower arm. Remove the knuckle from the ball joint of the lower arm.
5. Remove the cotter pin locking nuts tie rod.

A warning

Sharp edges can cut a stripper dust cover tie rod. Install the puller so that the sharp edges were between a dustproof cover and swivel.


6. Unscrew the nut to make it flush with the end of the ball stud. With the help of a stripper squeeze out the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
7. Remove the nuts and disconnect the left and right tips of steering drafts from rotary fists.

A warning

When removing the drive shaft is not subject to unnecessary shock constant velocity joint.


8. Insert mount between an internal SHRUS drive shaft and a transmission and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission.
9. To eliminate free sagging soft wire tie up a power shaft to a body.

10. Use a screwdriver to remove the oil seal.

A warning

Scores a jig easy blows until it comes into contact with the case.

Coat the lip of the oil seal with gear oil.


11. Use the special tool OK201 170 AA1 easy blows of a hammer in new oil seal in the transmission housing.
12. Replace the snap ring on the end of the drive shaft to the new. Insert the drive shaft so that the spring section of the ring facing up.
