Removal, check of a condition and installation of the radiator, radiator hose replacement

Petrol models

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection crankcase.
  1. Remove the radiator cap, open the drain valve (1) and drain the coolant into a suitable container cooked drain volume.
  1. Release fixing collars and remove the top (1) and lower (2) radiator hoses.
  1. Disconnect from going to the radiator expansion tank overflow hose.
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the air intake air intake tract (1) of the engine.
  1. Remove the five mounting bolts (1) of the fan assembly.
  1. Remove the bolts and the support brackets, he fed up, remove the radiator from the engine compartment.
  1. Inspect the heat sink for signs of leakage, deformation lamellae and connecting pipes and other mechanical damages. If necessary, replace the radiator, or take it to a specialized workshop for the implementation of the corresponding regenerative repair.
  1. Carefully review the state of the radiator hose, if necessary, prepare a replacement.
  2. Installation is in the reverse order - track reliability of fixing the radiator hose clamps and securing compliance with the requirements Specifications Chapter Systems of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
  3. Finally, season with a cooling system with fresh mix (see chap. Current leaving and service), start the engine, mayhem it up to normal operating temperature and then - if required - adjust the level of the coolant.
  4. Replace the radiator cap and do not turn off the engine, check the relevant components of the cooling tract for signs of leaks.

Diesel models

Details of installation of a radiator on diesel models

1 - Expansion tank to overflow hose
2 - The upper radiator hose
3 - Cover the fan assembly

4 - Lower radiator hose
5 - Connector coolant level sensor
6 - Radiator

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  2. The general principle of the procedure is similar to that described above for petrol. Remove the components acting in their numbering.
