Replacing the drive bearing cooling fan

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the alternator drive belt.
Remove the fan wheel, then remove with a landing flange bearing assembly pulley fan.

2 - Pulley

Release the fasteners and remove the bearing assembly (1) from the engine block.

Using a special puller and remove the appropriate knockout in the press boarding the flange of the drive pulley.

By means of a cylindrical mandrel the external diameter of 20 mm Extract the bearing.

Fitting the drive shaft flange boarding pulley, - the value of protruding pins on the shaft end surface of the hub flange portion should be 2.1 mm.

By placing the components in accordance with the instructions, make a new press-fit bearing its landing slot in the support bracket.

The further installation is made in the reverse order of disassembly of components - Ensure compliance with the Specifications of the Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners. Be sure to adjust the tension of the alternator drive belt.
