Removal and installation of the radio
 | In commercially available radios with a code number. After each connection of the receiver must be set to a specific code, otherwise the receiver will not work, the code is used to protect against theft. If the receiver is encoded, before disconnecting the battery or removing the receiver should define a security code. If the code is not known, the receiver can only play maker. Individual code, in most cases is a passport radio. The passport should not be stored in the car. |
| - Disconnect earth cable from the battery.
 | This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery. |
- Depending on the equipment: Remove the center console, see chap. Wheels and tires, a body, car coloring, care of the car, Section dashboard / center console.
- Remove trim -1-.
| - Unscrew the radio and mount. Gradually remove the radio, not distorting it.

- Unscrew earth cable from the back of the radio.
- Disconnect the antenna and speaker connectors, disconnect the multi-plug power. If the receiver is not connected to serial cables, before disconnecting the wires should be marked so as not to confuse them when installing.

Setting Note for additional radio installation  | If you are using custom-built power cord, make sure that there were no free uninsulated ends. Otherwise it may cause a short circuit, leading to burn cables. |
- It should be borne in mind that it may be used only a noise standard set. On sale are suppression kits specifically for MAZDA.
