6-cylinder engine




A warning

If items control valves will be used again, they need to be installed on the same place. In order not to confuse parts, be sure to make a cover for their storage. The camshafts are dismantled up when installed cylinder head.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of "weight" (-) battery.
A warning

This erased anti-theft radio code.


2. Loosen the V-ribbed belt.
3. Remove the cylinder head cover.
4. Remove the front casing.
5. Set cylinder 1 to TDC.
6. Mark the position of the control circuit with respect to each of the two sprockets of camshafts. To do this, apply a paint stroke on the chain and sprocket.
7. Unscrew and remove the intake camshaft gear.
8. Remove the control circuit to the intake camshaft gear.
9. Check that the camshafts in the basic position. The adjusting hole diameter of 4 mm at a basic position camshafts are arranged respectively outside the upper edge of the cylinder head (arrow). The regulator is of camshafts in the direction of "spat" (late).

A warning

The camshafts are removed and installed only in the basic position. They are very sensitive to fracture, and therefore must be installed, if possible, without strain.


10. Remove the camshaft bearing caps 1 and 8. Remove the bearing caps.

A warning

Bearing cap bolts loosen crosswise 1/2 turn, then one turn to loosen all the bolts and then unscrew.


11. To disassemble the intake camshaft first remove the bearing caps 9, 12 and 14.
12. Then remove the bearing caps 10, 12 and 13. In this case, loosen the bolts alternately and slowly, until no reaction.
13. To disassemble the exhaust camshaft first remove the bearing caps 4, 5 and 7.
14. At the end, remove the bearing caps 2, 3 and 6. And loosen the bolts slowly and alternately until no reaction.
15. Remove the camshafts.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. All mounting hardware clean thoroughly wash with gasoline, clean the sealing surfaces.
2. Check the bucket tappets.
3. camshafts and places lubricate bearings with engine oil.
A warning

When replacing the camshaft follow the correct identification. ID camshaft is on the bearing seat 3 and 10 of the bearing cap. The letters following the identifier designation represent only process step.


4. Install the intake camshaft so that the sharp ends of the cams in the middle of the third cylinder are pointing downwards.
5. First fit the bearing caps 10, 11 and 13. At the same time, tighten the screws crosswise alternately, respectively, per revolution.
6. Next, mount the bearing caps 9, 12 and 14.
7. Place the control circuit on the intake camshaft gear.
8. Insert in the control circuit of the intake camshaft gear and fix the new shoulder bolt with a torque of 20 Nm Then tighten the bolt spanner by 90 ?�.
9. Check coincidence applied when removing marks on the camshaft gears, and control circuit.
10. Install the cylinder head cover.
11. Set the clock.
12. Set the anti-theft code for the radio.
