Removal and installation of the water pump
Withdrawal
| - Disconnect "weight" from the storage battery.
- Drain the coolant.
- Remove the clamps and disconnect the hoses from the radiator.
- Remove the thermostat housing with a hose running to the water pump.
- Depending on the unit, disconnect the hose carb heat liberated from attachment to the intake manifold.
- Remove the fan.
- Remove the drive belt of the water pump.
- Remove pulley. In case of difficulty in the screw-bolt hub puller M10x1.
- Remove the magnet housing fan clutch.
- Remove generator bracket, without disconnecting the wires, and fix it in the engine compartment.
- Remove the water pump by unscrewing the screws fixing it.
- Clean and check all parts. Were intact mating surface of the water pump in any instrument or abrasives.

Setting
| - Place the gasket on the housing of the water pump and tighten the two screws and put on the mating surface sealant type ?�Loctite 518"
- Install a water pump and tighten the screws, except the generator bracket bolts.
- Establish an arm of the generator and the magnetic coupling housing fan.
- Tighten all bolts of the water pump.
- Install the water pump pulley.
- Slide the drive belt of the water pump and adjust its tension.
- Put the fan hub.
- On gasoline engines, connect the hose unit heating carburetor.
- Install the thermostat housing after replacing the gasket.
- Connect hoses and tighten clamps.
- Pour the liquid attach to the battery wire of "weight" and bleed the cooling system.
