Removal steps bolts camshaft engine M 110

Tags for tension accessory drive belt to the tension roller motor M 102.982. To loosen the tension nut 482 1/4 turn and rotate the nut 481 to the right to match the adjusting pin with a label (5 th For vehicles with power steering and with the 7th, power steering or air conditioning compressor), then tighten the nut 482.

Adjusting the tension of multi-ribbed belt accessory drive

1 - a bolt of fastening of a tension roller
2 - an adjusting bolt of a tension roller


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Slide the alternator drive belt on pulleys.
  2. Make sure that the tension roller is in the home position adjustment.
  3. Put the pointer in front of the belt tension adjustment of the zero scale value.
  4. Tighten the adjusting bolt tensioner pulley so that the pointer to adjust the belt tension has appeared in front of the 7th division of the scale (or 5th on cars without power steering).
  5. Tighten the bolt of a tension roller.
