1. In case of refusal or abuse of serviceability of functioning of the fan heater, first check the condition and attachment of terminal connections corresponding circuit. Make sure in the fullness of the battery. Assess the corresponding fuse, relay switch. There is also the probability of failure of the drive motor.
2. Before proceeding to the verification of the actual motor will appreciate the condition of fuse and relays (if applicable) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
3. In order to ensure access to housing heater and fan assembly, remove the glove box and the lower section of the instrument panel trim (see chap. Body).  | 4. Turn the ignition key to the ON position and set the fan control switch heater exemption provision (s). To check the functioning of the power supply to the motor will need lamp or voltmeter probe. 5. To check the quality of the grounding, disconnect the motor wiring and connect the jumper wire between the ground terminal of the motor and a good ground. 8. Use an ohmmeter to check the quality of the grounding resistor assembly in various positions of the switch control - in every position (except OFF) conductivity should take place between the three terminals of six.
9. In case of violations should produce appropriate refurbishment of switch or wiring running to his chain.
10. If a properly grounded, check Resistor network for the presence of the conduction between the terminals. in case of breakage, replace the resistor.
