Removal, service and installation of compressor K / V

The air conditioning system is constantly under high pressure. In no case do not disconnect refrigerator lines and do not remove any components without first running the last discharge. Discharge the air conditioning system should be carried out by experienced specialist in the workshop car service. When disconnecting refrigeration lines, always wear protective goggles!

When replacing components of the air conditioning system will require a certain amount of replaceable refrigerator oil needed to fill the volume of the new node. Use only oils that are suitable for use in an R-134a (carefully read the label on the container).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make a discharge of an air conditioning system in a specialist workshop.
2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Cock a lay brake, prop up the rear wheel chock, then Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
4. Remove compressor drive belt (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).

5. Remove from the refrigerator compressor line. Immediately plug the open ends of tubes and fittings in order to avoid falling in the dirt and moisture.

6. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the compressor, then give fixing bolts and remove the assembly with support bracket.

Upper cap screws can be turned out not through and retained in the assembly of the compressor to extract it from the vehicle.

Service

PERFORMANCE ORDER

In these models of vehicles used one of the three types of compressor K / V.

Replacing the clutch compressor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central bolt, having stopped the disc clutch wrench. The coupling can be removed using a special extractor.

2. Fold down the lock washer box, give the lock nut and remove the pulley.

3. If the mating surface of the visible signs of damage or signs of overheating, the drive plate and the clutch pulley should be replaced.
4. Before installing, wipe the surface of the mating pulley solvent.
5. Check the condition of the spiral - pay attention to the signs of easing the contact and insulation damage.

6. Installation should adjust the gap between the disc and the pulley by adjusting shims - use meter gap between the electrodes of the spark plugs.

7. When replacing the clutch of the compressor do not forget to make her run-in - the compressor must be switched on at least 30 times.
8. During the break-in occurs torque capacity clutch. Do not allow foreign materials compressor.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Do not forget to move the clutch from the old to the new compressor.
2. Fill in the required amount of fresh refrigerant oil, based on the following data:

a) Drain the refrigerant from the compressor is removed from the car and measure its volume;
b) Drain present in the assembly of the new refrigerant;
c) If the amount of the fusion of the old block oil totaled 90 ÷ 150 ml, pour in the new compressor the same amount of fresh refrigerant;
d) If, from the old compressor was drained at least 90 ml of oil, pour into a new 90 ml;
e) If the amount of the fusion of the old block oil exceeded 150 ml, should fill in the new assembly 150 mL of refrigerant.
3. Install in the reverse order. Do not forget to replace the O-ring compression fittings refrigeration lines. Before installing the rings should be lubricated with refrigerant oil. Note: Do not forget to put the compressor top two mounting bolts before the new assembly will be put on the car.
4. Charge the system and checking for leaks in a specialized workshop.
