Front hub bearing

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the disc and caliper.
4. Remove the speed sensor (on vehicles with ABS-system).
5. Remove the bracket and move the sensor wiring to the side.
6. Disconnect the floor only on the hub, take aside and fix (see. Subsection 10.2).
	7. Remove the two screws attaching the stand to the steering knuckle (indicated by arrows), remove the screws and remove the rack.
8. Rasshplintuyte and unscrew the nut, press out the ball joint and tie rod end from the knuckle eyelets.
9. Extract the hub of the bearing. At the hub must remain one of the inner bearing race.
10. Xpress bearing race from the hub.
11. Remove the outer packing.
12. Remove the internal packing.
13. Get out of the hole in his hand the bearing retaining ring.
14. If weakened landing remaining clips, then remove the holder.
15. Press out the bearing from the knuckle mandrel of suitable diameter, which rests only in the outer part of the bearing.
16. When pressing out should rest against the back of the fist.
17. Press out the bearing can also be attacks on the inner cage is inserted through the tubular frame.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before installing the new bearing, thoroughly clean the inner surface of the fist.

2. Press in the outer ring of the bearing mandrel resting only in the outer edge. It does not lubricate the outside of the cage to facilitate the pressing.

3. Insert into the groove in the hole fist snap ring.

4. Lay the lubricant into the cavity of the gland, and gently press in the oil seal from the outside of the knuckle.

5. Set backup the outside of the fist.

6. Lay the lubricant in the packing and the press in the oil seal with the inside of the knuckle.

7. Firmly resting the inner ring of the bearing, gently press in the hub into a fist.

8. Check the free rotation of the hub.

9. Attach the axle shaft and tighten the nut with the set moment.

10. Put the disc and caliper brakes.

11. Attach the ball joint of the lower arm, wrap a new nut and tighten with the set moment.

12. Zashplintuyte nut new cotter pin.

13. Attach the rack and replace the bolts and nuts.

14. Tighten bolts and nuts to the specified torque.

15. Attach the tie rod, replacing the nut and cotter pin.

16. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
