Upholstery and carpets
Mats should regularly be cleaned with a brush or a vacuum cleaner so that they do not accumulate dirt. If they were stains, remove the floor mats of the car to clean using a brush and soap, and before installation, check that they are dry. Seats and interior trim panels can be kept clean by wiping them with a damp cloth. If they appear spots (which are more visible on the bright finish), use a small amount of liquid detergent and a soft brush to remove dirt from the fiber furnish. Remember to keep head clean as well as the seat upholstery. If using liquid detergents in the car, do not apply too much liquid on the surface being cleaned. Excess moisture can get into the joints or soft padding to soak, leave stains, odors or even cause rot.
If you accidentally spill water in the car, it is recommended to dry it, especially the rugs. Do not leave oil or electric heaters in the car for this purpose.
