PERFORMANCE ORDER

A warning

Do not press the brake pedal with the brake pads removed.


1. Clean dust and dirt from the caliper and rust from the edge of the brake disc. If the pads are suitable for further use, clean them using a wire brush and rags.
2. Check brake disc for cracks, especially around the holes for the wheel bolts as well as for wear and mechanical damage and replace it if necessary.
3. Measure the thickness of the brake disc.
4. Check the dust cap piston caliper and replace it if necessary.

A warning

With vigorous brake pad wear, check the ease of movement of the piston calipers. To do this, insert a piece of wood between the brake pads in the caliper and ask the assistant to press the brake pedal. When you press the brake pedal piston should move smoothly, squeezing the brake pads. Otherwise, make a repair of a support in a hospital.


5. If will be established new brake pads, using a special device, press the piston in the caliper.
6. pressing the piston in the caliper can use a wooden core or the hammer handle. At the same time, make sure that the piston has not warped also surfaces of the piston and the boot are not damaged.
7. When retracted, the piston brake liquid is superseded from the brake cylinder in a broad tank, so constantly observe of liquid level in the tank and, if necessary pump out from a tank its small amount.
8. Install the brake pads in the caliper.
9. In May 1998 redesigned brake pads. The reverse side of the inner brake pad is painted white. The outer brake pad is painted black and has a trehplechy locking clip.
10. Install the caliper to the steering knuckle. First set the lower part of the caliper (arrow) on the guide grooves knuckle.
11. Secure the caliper guide bolts to the steering knuckle and tighten them to 28 Nm.
12. Place the guard rail bolts.
13. Install the front wheels, then lower the car and tighten the wheel bolts torque of 120 Nm.
14. Check brake fluid level in popolnitelnom tank and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
15. Repeatedly press the brake pedal to the brake pads pressed against the brake disk.

A warning

Carefully let earned extra new brake pads. For this purpose, a speed of about 80 km / h several times slow down to a speed of 40 km / h by lightly pressing the pedal. In between, let cool a few brake pads.

After installing new brake pads, avoid sharp braking during the first 200 kilometers of the car.


Check safety controls

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check whether the brake hoses are tight.

4. Check whether the brake fluid level.
