PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the state of the brake linings allowing them to further operation, clear them, using a wire brush and clean rags.

3. Clean dust and dirt from the caliper and the piston.
4. Check the dust seal around the piston.
5. Using a wire brush, clean the brake disc from the traces of rust.
6. Measure the thickness of the brake disc.
7. When installing new brake pads must be screwed into the caliper piston.

A warning

When screwing piston brake liquid is superseded from the brake cylinder in a broad tank, so constantly watch the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If necessary, evacuate the fluid from the reservoir.


8. For the screwing of the piston into the cylinder is necessary to use a tool VW 3272. For screwing piston position the tool so that the collar instrument established in the grooves of the piston (A - space for wrench).
9. Turn the body of the special tool counterclockwise until it stops. Rotate the special tool clockwise, screw the piston in the caliper.
10. When screwing piston difficult set wrench in the slots 13 in the base of the handle of the wrench and screw the piston.
11. In the absence of a special tool, screw the piston in the caliper, using angled snap ring pliers.
12. Install new spring clips into the caliper.
13. Install the brake pads in the caliper bracket.
14. If you install the old brake pads, check that they are set to original position.
15. When installing new brake pads, remove them with a protective film.
16. Establish a support and fix its new bolts, having tightened their moment of 35 Nm.
17. Connect the cable to the caliper brake (3), which press the lever (2) in the direction of the arrow and connect the cable to the handbrake lever. Secure the cover of a cable of a manual brake spring bracket (1).
18. Adjust the work of a manual brake.
19. Install the rear wheels, then lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts.
20. Repeatedly press the brake pedal to the brake pads pressed against the brake disk.
21. Check brake fluid level in popolnitelnom tank and, if necessary, finish it to norm.

A warning

Carefully let earned extra new brake pads. For this purpose, a speed of about 80 km / h several times slow down to a speed of 40 km / h by lightly pressing the pedal. In between, let cool a few brake pads.

After installing new brake pads, avoid sharp braking during the first 200 kilometers of the car.


Check safety controls

PERFORMANCE ORDER
