Key brake failure

CAUSE
SOLUTION
Increased free stroke of the brake pedal
Worn brake linings
Replace the brake pads
Faulty one of the brake circuits
Check the tightness of the hydraulic circuit brake system
Increased speed and softness of the clutch pedal
The hydraulic brake system, air is present
Bleed the hydraulic brake system
Reduced fluid level in the tank popolnitelnom
Bring the fluid level up to normal
Bleed the hydraulic brake system
Boiling brake fluid, which typically occurs at a high load on the brake system
Replace brake fluid. Bleed the hydraulic brake system
Low efficiency of the brakes
Leaky hydraulic brakes
Identify and eliminate leaks place hydraulic brakes
Damaged O-ring in the main or working brake cylinder
Replace sealing ring. If damaged O-ring in the brake master cylinder, replace internal parts of the brake master cylinder and the brake cylinder assembly
When you press the brake pedal is necessary to put more effort
On the brake linings got oil
Replace the brake pads
Mounted brake pads of the appropriate type
Replace the brake pads
Faulty brake servo or leaks in the booster vacuum hose
Check Vakkumnye brake booster vacuum hose and the state and, if necessary, replace them
Worn brake linings
Replace the brake pads
When braking the vehicle leads to the side
Uneven pressure of the tire wheels
Check and, if necessary, bring to normal pressure in the tire wheels
Uneven tire wear
Replace worn tires
On the brake pads on one side of the car hit oil
Replace the brake pads
On different sides of the vehicle is used brake pads with different friction material
Replace the brake pads
Insufficient contact area of the brake pads with the brake disc
Replace the brake pads
Pollution caliper
Clean the surface of the support, interfaced with the brake pads
Full or partial blockage of the piston in the caliper
Replace saddle
Uneven wear on brake linings
Replace the brake pads and check the smooth running of the piston in the caliper
Continuous slowdown wheels
Locked compensation hole in the brake master cylinder
Clean and, if necessary, replace the internal parts of the brake master cylinder
Insufficient clearance between the pusher and the piston of the master cylinder
Check and if necessary adjust the clearance between the pusher and the piston of the master cylinder
When driving the ABS warning lamp lights up
System voltage is less than 10 in the car
Check the voltage in the vehicle electrical system. Check that the battery charging indicator lamp goes out after starting the engine. Otherwise, check the condition of the V-belt and alternator
Faulty anti-lock brakes
Check the condition of the anti-lock brake system on HUNDRED
Brakes are heated while driving
Locked compensation hole in the brake master cylinder
Clean and, if necessary, replace the internal parts of the brake master cylinder
Insufficient clearance between the pusher and the piston of the master cylinder
Check and if necessary adjust the clearance between the pusher and the piston of the master cylinder
Brake pads are constantly pressed against the brake disk
Check the operation of the brake caliper and, if necessary, replace it
Strong vibration during braking
Mounted brake pads of the appropriate type
Replace the brake pads
There are traces of the local corrosion on the brake disc
Machined working surface of the brake disc
The deformation of the brake disc
Machined or replace the brake disc
Brake pads are constantly pressed against the brake disc, wherein the wheel is rotated with difficulty
There is corrosion cylinder brake calipers
Repair or replace the brake caliper
Uneven wear on brake linings
Mounted brake pads of the appropriate type
Replace the brake pads
Contamination of the brake caliper
Clean the caliper
Wedging the piston in the caliper
Check the condition and, if necessary, replace the caliper
Leaky hydraulic brakes
Locate the leak and repair of hydraulic braking systems
The wedge-shaped brake linings wear
Caliper is mounted skewed with respect to the brake disc
Be sure to install the brake caliper
There is corrosion in the brake caliper
Clean corroded caliper
The noise of the brakes when braking
Completely worn brake shoe lining
Replace the brake pads
There is a slight layer of rust on the brake discs
After several braking noise should abyss and there is more
Mounted brake pads of the appropriate type
Replace the brake pads
Caliper is mounted skewed with respect to the brake disc
Be sure to install the brake caliper
The emergence of strong vibration when braking on the brake pedal or steering wheel
During heavy braking the running anti-lock brakes
Repair is not required, as it is normal
Heavy wear and warping brake discs
Check the condition of the brake discs and, if necessary, replace them
Loose caliper mounting bolts
Check and, if necessary, tighten the caliper mounting bolts
