Adjusting headlights
Before adjusting headlights, follow the steps listed below. All tires must have a pressure rating of the air. Put the car on level ground and shake it a few times, pressing the front and rear bumpers. Make sure that the vehicle is not loaded (there is nothing but a spare tire, jack and tools, the full amount of the engine coolant, engine oil and fuel). Put the driver's seat load, corresponding to the weight of an adult.

Wash the diffusers headlamps and turn on dipped or main beam headlights. Open the hood. On adjusting the screen, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line (passing through the center of each headlamp). Then, draw a line extending parallel to and 30 mm below the horizontal line, to adjust the headlamps.

Adjust the border line illumination beam headlamps at a parallel line by using a Phillips screwdriver (Fig. 1.232). Adjust the border line of lighting the dipped headlights on each vertical line using a Phillips screwdriver.

If in the body repair the front end of the car were replaced by headlights assembly, check the adjustment of the light beam headlights using a screen, as shown in Figure 1.232. Turn the dimmer switch (switch to melee or beam). Adjust the headlamp beam so that its own axis of the beam is parallel to the center line of the car body and coincide in the point "P" is shown in Figure 1.232. Specifications "H" - the distance from the horizontal center line of the headlamp to the ground. Dipped: 883 mm. High beam: 869 mm. ?�W?� - the distance between the centers of the headlamps. Dipped 1402 mm. Main beam 1144 mm. ?�L?� - the distance between the headlamps and the screen on which they are tested: 3000 mm.
