Emergency towing
In case of emergency towing when you can not use the services of a tow truck, attach the tow rope or chain to the towing hook at the bottom of the car. Do not attempt to tow the car in such a way on the road, which has no solid surface. Towing this method should not be applied in case of damage to the wheels, chassis, axles, steering parts or brake system. Before towing, make sure the gear lever is in neutral and the ignition key - in the "ACC" ("Options") (when the engine is not running) or in position ?�ON?� (?�On.") (When the engine is running ). When towing, the driver must be in the vehicle to control it. When towing the car to the hook at the rear of a vehicle: - Open the cover of the towing hook by pressing on it with your finger; - To install the towing hook, turn it clockwise.
ATTENTION The tow hook must be firmly tightened to the disappearance of the gap in the opening of the towing hook. The tow hook is located in the luggage compartment. Attach the tow rope, chain or strap to the tow hook on the bottom rear of the vehicle. |
