If the engine does not start
If the engine will not crank starter or scrolls very slowly If the car is equipped with an automatic gearbox, move the selector lever to position "P" or ?�N?� and apply the parking brake. Check the wires to the terminals of the battery to make sure that they are clean and firmly connected.
Turn on the interior light. If the light is weak or off when the starter motor is turned on, therefore the battery is discharged (Fig. 1.190). Check the tightness of wires starter. Do not start the engine by towing.
If the engine is normally actuated by the starter but does not start Check the fuel level in the tank. Check the connections of all wires of the ignition coil and spark plugs (for gasoline-powered cars), connect all the wires preheating relay and glow plugs (for diesel vehicles). Reconnect disconnected or poorly connected connection. Check the fuel line in the engine compartment.
If the engine has decayed during movement Gradually slow down the vehicle, moving in a straight line. Carefully roll up the road to a safe place. Turn on the alarm. Try again to start the engine.
