Checking the engine oil - gasoline engine 2.7 l
Before checking the engine oil warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and make sure the vehicle is on a level surface. Turn off the engine.
Wait about five minutes (gasoline engine) / about two minutes (diesel engine), pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert the dipstick to the end and then pull it out. Check the oil level on the dipstick. It must be between the ?FULL? (?full?) and ?LOW? (?Low?) on the dipstick.

Topping up the oil

Topping up the oil - gasoline engine 2.7 l
On the consumption of oil has a strong influence viscosity and oil quality, engine speed, driving conditions, etc. The engine consumes more oil in harsh environments, such as at high speeds and frequent acceleration and braking.
