Airbag Warning Lamp

The objective of the airbag warning lamp is to draw attention to the occurrence of a fault in the system of SRS. SRS system needs an inspection if:

- Warning lamp lights up even for a short time when the ignition;
- Warning lamp stays on when the engine is running;
- Warning lamp lights up or flashes while driving.

The airbag system - SRS - virtually maintenance free and has no parts that require repair. It is necessary to carry out after-sales service system in the following cases:

- When the airbag is revealed, it must be replaced. Do not try to disassemble and change the pillow yourself. This should be done only by an authorized KIA dealer or a qualified service technician.
- If the warning light indicates a malfunction in the SRS, then as soon as possible, check the system. Otherwise, if the need arises, the airbag may not inflate.
