The keys

Location tags code number keys

The code number is printed on a label attached to a keychain. In the case of loss of the key, this number is required KIA authorized dealer for quick duplication. Therefore, remove the tag and hide it in a safe place. Also write down the code number and keep it handy, but not in the car.

A warning

Leaving children in a vehicle unattended with the ignition key is dangerous even if the key is not in the ignition. Children often imitate adults, and may insert the key into the lock. This will allow them to include electric window lifters and other systems of the vehicle can even move the vehicle, which is very dangerous.

Use parts of the original production of Kia as in the case of the ignition key of your car. The use of any other key manufacturing can lead to the fact that the ignition switch will not return to ON (ON) position when START (start). If this happens, the starter will rotate, causing damage to his motor and possible fire due to excessive over-voltage in the electric coil starter.
