Immobiliser

Your vehicle is equipped with an electronic immobilizer, can significantly reduce the risk of theft. The immobilizer system consists of a transmitter, built in the ignition, wire antenna, built in the ignition and the immobilizer control unit (UBI). If you insert the key into the lock and turn it to the "On" (ON), the antenna receives a signal from the transmitter and give it to the UBI. UBI monitors the correct signal. If the signal is correct, the motor is empty, if not, do not let the engine.

If you want to change the security code locking system of a vehicle, contact an authorized Kia dealer. After changing this code is necessary to ensure the safe custody of the secret code.
