Towing

As a general rule, cars must be towed off the ground wheel drive.

If due to significant damage to the vehicle or because of other circumstances, the vehicle can not be towed with the drive wheels raised, use a cart.

With automatic or manual transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the ignition switch to the ACC.
2. Set the gear lever to the neutral position N (Neutral).
3. Release the parking brake.

A warning

Do not tow the vehicle backwards, ie, with the front wheels on the road. This can result in damage to the gearbox.

Do not tow the vehicle using a rope. Use wheel lift or hardware platform type.

A warning

Do not use for the purpose of towing hooks under the front or rear of the vehicle. These hooks are designed ONLY for tying when transporting the car on the platform.

If these hooks are used for towing may damage the front or rear bumper, and a towed vehicle can break away and disengaged from the towing vehicle.
