The fuel filler flap

Remote unlocking hatch fuel filler (Type A)

Pull the opening handle (located on the floor) in the left front corner of the driver's seat to open the hatch of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank.

Manual opening hatch fuel filler (Type B)

The fuel may be pressurized. Always remove the stopper carefully and gradually. If you open the cork out leaking fuel or hear hissing, before removing the cork, wait until the flow and stop hissing.

Fuel evaporation are particularly dangerous and explosive. When refueling always shut the engine off and never refuel the car if there is a near open flames or equipment generating sparks. Before charging, always extinguish the cigarette or other burning objects.

Open the fuel filler cap by turning counterclockwise.

Close the fuel filler cap by turning clockwise until it clicks. This means that the plug is securely closed.

A warning

Ajar plug can cause burning warning light OBD-II 01 in the instrument cluster.

Filler neck of a fuel tank is designed so that the tank may be filled with lead-free (unleaded) gasoline.

If necessary, replace the fuel filler cap, use only the KIA cap or equivalent. Use not recommended plug can cause damage to the fuel supply system and drain the fuel vapor.

If during the cold season you can not open the fuel filler cap, because she froze, click on the plug or gently tap on it.
A warning
