Care of appearance of the car

Washing

To protect the exterior finish of the car from corrosion and damage to the car wash thoroughly and frequently at least once a month with lukewarm or cold water. Pay attention to the elimination of salt deposits, dirt or other foreign material. Ensure patency and clean the drain holes in the lower edges of the doors or panels.

Insects traces resin, bird droppings, industrial waste or the like deposits can damage exterior of the vehicle, if they are not removed immediately.

Even emergency washing with plain water may not always eliminate these deposits completely. For painted surfaces, you can use a mild soap.

A warning

Do not use a hard soap, chemicals or hot water and do not wash the car, which is exposed to direct sunlight or a hot body. After washing, rinse the vehicle thoroughly with warm or cold water.

Avoid not to wash off the soap has dried on the outer surface of the vehicle.

After washing, check the brake, in particular for a slow ride to determine the water influence on their performance.

The use of wax

Rub waxed car only after complete removal of water from the surface of the lacquer. Before using wax always wash and dry the car. Use only good quality wax in liquid or paste, and stick to the manufacturer's instructions. Waxes and metal parts of the car to protect them from corrosion and gloss retention.

When removing oils, gums and other deposits by the means for removing spots in most cases are usually removed from the surface and a layer of wax. Therefore, after such an operation in each case should be applied on these places a new layer of wax, despite the fact that the rest of the car is not yet in need thereof.

Caring for the lower part of the body and chassis

Materials that promote corrosion, used to remove ice and snow from roads and dust can settle and accumulate on the bottom of the body and chassis of the car.

If these materials are not eliminate, the chassis, and the underbody and mainly by fuel pipelines frame floor areas and the exhaust system can be formed accelerated corrosion area, despite the fact that the protection against corrosion is provided on them. Therefore, carefully wash the vehicle chassis and wheel compartments for warm or cold water, mainly at the end of the winter period. Pay particular attention to the areas where the accumulation of dirt poor visible. The lower edge of the door panel and the frame are provided with drain holes, which must not be clogged with mud, so here as precipitating the water may cause corrosion. If you wash the dirt road, and it is not clear from the hole in which she plays the role of a stub, it will do more harm than good.

After washing the car, check the brakes if you drive slowly and then verify, if the water does not worsen their performance.

Caring for aluminum wheels wheels

Aluminum wheels are covered with a transparent protective layer.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishing pastes, solvents or metal brushes for aluminum wheel rims. They may scratch or otherwise damage the external finish of the wheels.

Use a mild soap or neutral tools and rinse with water. Also be sure to clean the wheels after use on roads with salt. This helps to prevent corrosion.

Avoid cleaning the wheels with high-speed brushes in car wash.
