Parking brake



Parking brake

1 -Consoles;
2 - rear parking brake cable;
3 - the parking brake lever;
4 - an adjusting nut;
5 - the front part of the parking brake cable;
6 - an arm of the parking brake cable;
7 - a cover of parking brake cable;
8 - rear parking brake cable.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bolt and remove the handbrake console.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the parking brake switch.

3. Loosen the adjusting nut of the parking brake cable.
4. Remove the two nuts and bolt and remove the brake lever.
5. Remove the front part of the parking brake cable from the back of the parking brake cable.
6. Remove the bracket rear parking brake cable.
7. Remove the two screws on the hinges back seat.
8. Remove the rear seat.
9. Remove the rear door sill trim.
10. Release clamps carpet and remove it to access the parking brake cable cover.
11. Remove the nut cover the parking brake cable.
12. Remove the parking brake cable.
13. Lift the car and fix on support.
14. Remove the rear wheels.
15. Remove the rear brake drum and brake pad assembly.
16. Remove the parking brake cable from the lever on the brake pads.
17. Remove the nut and bolt of the parking brake cable.
18. Pull the parking brake cable through the hole in the back and remove it from the vehicle.

19. Pull the parking brake cable through the hole in the brake shield.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert the parking brake cable through the hole in the body.
2. Insert the parking brake cable through the hole in the brake shield.
3. Attach the parking brake cable on the lever of the rear brake pads.
4. Install the rear brake drum.
5. Attach the handbrake cable nut and bolt.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

6. Install the wheel.
7. Lower the car.
8. Set the parking brake cable cover.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

9. Replace the bracket back of the parking brake cable.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

10. Replace the carpet, and the rear door sill trim.
11. Install the rear seat.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

12. Connect the front and rear parking brake cable and secure them with a clamp.
13. Set the parking brake lever.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

14. Pass the cable through the parking brake lever and screw the adjusting nut.
15. Set the parking brake switch.
16. Set the handbrake console.

A warning

Check the number of clicks when tightening the handbrake lever. Make sure that when tightening the lever for one-click control lamp of a lay brake.


Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Make sure that the parking brake lever is in the fully released position.
2. Raise the rear of the vehicle so that the rear wheels can rotate freely.
3. Turn the adjusting nut to adjust the parking brake, so that when tightening the lever a force of 10 kg, he was raised by 5-7 clicks.

A warning

The rear wheels must brake the tightening of the parking brake lever 5-7 clicks.


4. Do not bend the parking brake cable at 90 ?� or more.
5. Check the operation of the parking brake.
