1. When installing a new main brake cylinder adjust the brake servo pushrod as follows:
- Establish special adaptation OK370 430 018 in the brake master cylinder. Turn the adjustment screw until it is not located in a hole in the piston of the pusher; - The vacuum pump creates a vacuum of 500 mm Hg in the brake servo; - Turn the special adaptation OK370 430 018 and set it to the vacuum brake booster; - Measure the gap between the end of adaptation OK370 430 018 and the brake servo pushrod.
If the gap is not equal to 0 mm, loosen the lock nut and turning the push rod plunger do the adjustment. |
| A warning After the adjustment and installation of the main brake cylinder to the brake servo, a gap between the plunger and the piston must match
given in the table.
|
The vacuum is applied to the brake servo, mmHg | The clearance between the pusher and the piston, mm | 0 | 0.4-0.6 | 500 | 0.1-0.4 |
