Bleeding the brakes
 | Hit the brake fluid on the painted surface of the body is associated with the risk of damage to paintwork - accidental splashes should be removed immediately with a dry cloth or a clean paper towel! |
| - Make sure the tank is filled with the GTZ at least 3/4 - Do not lower the level of liquid below this critical point during the progress of the pumping. Enlist an assistant.
- Post the car off the ground.
- Remove the protective cap from the valve pumping caliper / wheel cylinder brake of the first wheel of the car serviced. Put on the valve transparent hose of suitable diameter, - the second end into a partially filled with brake fluid transparent container.
- Ask the assistant to squeeze out a few times a pedal of a foot brake, then lock it in the down position.
- Loosen the valve and release the brake fluid from the wheel cylinder to the tank.
- Tighten the valve and ask the assistant to repeat the procedure - to keep pumping as long as from a support / cylinder starts to be pushed clean, free of air bubbles in the brake fluid.
 | Do not forget to monitor the level of liquid in the tank GTZ (see. The warning at the beginning of this section)! |
- Finally, tighten the valve, make sure that there are no signs of leakage, and set the cap. Immediately collect traces of spilled liquids.
- Operating in a similar manner, bleed the brakes of the remaining wheels.
- Finally, adjust the liquid level in the tank GTZ (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
