Read the faults ABS / EBD, clearing processor memory
Reading | - When the ignition is an electronic control unit (ECU) ABS / EBD monitors the condition of components of each circuit of the two systems. In case of violations to the processor shall be stored a fault code, and the instrument cluster is activated by the corresponding vehicle control lamp (ABS or brake system).
- Stored in the memory block of code can be done using a special scanner Hi-scan pr, connected to the fixed to the body of the air cleaner equipped with a protective cover diagnostic socket DLC (cm. Power supply systems, engine control / emission control and exhaust).
- Switch off the ignition and connect the scanner to the DLC.
- Turn on the ignition and select the correct name of the scanner make and model of car (KIA Sportage).
- After initialization, the scanner, select the respondent element.
- Activate procedure O fault codes (?�� 1), - on the screen of the scanner will be displayed all stored in the processor memory management module four-DTC.
 | The codes will continue to be displayed as long as the processor memory is cleared. |
- Make the necessary corrections, and then clear the memory of the processor.

Memory cleaning | - After solving the problem, make sure of serviceability of functioning of the controlled system (ABS / EBD), and then initiate the cleaning processor memory - paragraph number 4 menu - and then press Enter (Enter) on the keyboard scanner.
