Removal and installation of hydraulic and electronic control unit ABS / EBD



Details of installation of electronic and hydraulic control unit ABS / EBD

1 - Electronic control unit (ECU)
2 - Support bracket HECU
3 - Fixing pin

4 - The electric motor pump

6 - hydromodulator (HCU)


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Switch off the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the electronic control unit (ECU).

Try to avoid accidental power supply board (12) to any of terminals ECU!

  1. Carefully wipe the surface hydromodulator (HCU), completely removing from it the traces of dirt and grease.
  2. Preliminary having marked, disconnect the hydraulic lines from the HCU.
  3. Remove the support bracket bolts hydromodulator mudguard to the wing in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
  4. Remove hydromodulator assembly with support bracket and an electronic control unit (ECU).
  1. Remove the locking pin, remove the landing sleeve assembly and remove the HECU support bracket.
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the assembly from the HECU electronic control unit (ECU).
  2. Check the sealing elements ECU for scoring and cracks, - in case of need make replacement.
  3. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness connection of hydraulic lines (guided by applied in the process of dismantling, - identification mark), as well as compliance with the requirements Specifications Chapter brake system to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
  4. In summary pump hydraulic path of brake system (see. Section pumping the brakes), and make trial runs of the car.
