Service drum rear brakes
 | For cleaning brake components should be used special tools or methyl alcohol - do not use petroleum solvents! |
The design of the drum brake of the rear wheel Dismantling | - Remove the nuts of the brake drum to flange axis.
 | - Use a screwdriver to rotate the knob through the service port, take the shoes from the walls of the drum, then unscrew the retaining screw and remove the drum.

 | - Using tongs, remove the spring adjustment lever.
|
 | - Remove the adjusting lever.
|
 | - Remove the upper return spring.
|
 | - Provernuv clockwise regulator expander strap, remove the latter.
|
 | - Expand the anchor finger parallel to the groove and remove the spring guide shoes.
|
 | - Remove the lower return spring.
|
 | - Using pliers detach the drive cable from the executive lever of the parking brake.
|
 | - Disconnect the hydraulic hose from the rear of the brake shield, then turn out a pair of mounting bolts and remove the wheel cylinder.
|
 | - If necessary, disassemble the wheel cylinder components (two anther two pistons, piston two cups Spreader spring).
|
|
|
Evaluation of the components | - Carefully smooth any parts and carefully review their general condition. Replace defective parts.
 | - Determine the degree of wear of the friction linings of shoes, in case of need make replacement.
|
| The shoes should be replaced in the complete set for both wheels of the rear axle! |
- Check the working surface of the drums for signs of overheating, cracks, burrs and other mechanical damage. Minor flaws may be eliminated by treatment with fine sandpaper or the friction surface of the brake shoe old. In case of deep lesions give the drums in a groove (within range), or replace them.

Assembly |  | - In line with the lubricate working elements of the wheel cylinder and assemble the latter.
|
 | - Installation is the reverse order of disassembly of components - Make sure that the lever of the automatic adjustment properly pressed against the gear knob. Do not forget to lubricate the spring attachment point, be sure of compliance with Specifications Chapter brake system to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.

 | - Before replacing the drum, measure the outside diameter of the brake assembly planted shield shoes, and then measure the inside diameter of the drum. By subtracting the result from the first measurement result of the second, determine the amount of movement of planting shoes - the result of calculation should not go beyond the permitted range.
