Mounting fuse / relay box - general information, removal, installation, replacement of fuses



general information

All these models used in the wiring board can be divided into 13 basic bundles:

  1. Cable harness chuck
  2. Cable harness dash
  3. Dashboard cable harness
  4. Cable harness fuel injectors / injectors
  5. Engine wiring harness
  6. Cable harness salon
  7. Cable harness tailgate
  8. The cable harness rear bumper
  9. Cable harness the left front door
  10. Cable harness right front door
  11. The cable harness rear left door
  12. Cable harness right rear door
  13. Cable harness tailgate

To protect the electrical consumers onboard fuses are used, placed at the two mounting blocks, one of which - the main - is placed in the right side of the engine compartment, and the second is mounted in the instrument panel on the left of the steering column and fitted with a hinged lid.

Replacing fuses

Arrangements fuse assembly shown in Specifications of the Head the Onboard electric equipment at the beginning of this chapter. Label with the layout of the internal components also typically glued to the detachable lid of the main mounting block.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To replace a failed fuse is placed in a salon assembly block, open equipped hinges plastic cap with the inscription ?�FUSE?� at the base of the A-pillar to the left under the dashboard, then use fixed inside the clamp, remove the defective fuse - and install in its place a removable calculated on the same amperage.
  1. Replacing the fuse of the main mounting block is produced in a similar manner, - try not to drop the removable cover in the engine compartment.

Removal and installation of the main mounting block

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  1. Release the fixing nut.
  1. Preliminary having marked, disconnect the wiring and remove the mounting block from the engine compartment.
  2. Installation is in the reverse order.
