The system timer and alarm gongs (ETWIS) - general information, removal and installation of the control module



ETWIS permits operation of gongs warning, alerting the driver to remove the key from the ignition, turn off lighting, fastening seat belts, the observance of safe speed limits, as well as management of the uniform lock activators and off timer heated rear window.

1 - The gauge-switch key is removed (normally open)
2 - door sensor switch (normally open)

1 - Ignition switch (ON, ACC)
2 - Switch the mode of functioning of navigation lights
3 - sensor driver's door switch (normally open)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the glovebox lid and right instrument panel (see chap. Body).
  2. Disconnect the wiring and remove the module ETWIS.
  3. Installation is in the reverse order.
