Removal and installation of the carburetor



When removing the carburetor may make a certain amount of fuel. Fuel vapors are poisonous and flammable, so pay attention to good ventilation of the workplace. Avoid getting fuel on the skin, to work in fuel-proof gloves. Do not work near open flames.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect earth cable from the battery.

This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery.

  1. Remove the air filter -2-. See Chapter power supply system, the carburettor, fuel injection system, Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
  2. If present, unscrew the bracket from the air filter.
  3. Remove the drive gas -3-. Pre-mark the installation position of the sheath on the counter support.

Gaszug not be bent or it will burst during operation. The bent wire anyway replaced.

  1. Disconnect fuel -4- and plug it, after loosening and sliding the back collar. As a plug can be used pure bolt of appropriate diameter.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hoses -5- on the housing of the carburettor and mark them with adhesive tape.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connections -6 and -7, and mark them with adhesive tape.
  1. Unscrew the nut and lift the carburetor carburetor -8.
  2. Remove the plug heater.
  3. Remove heater -9 and gaskets.
  4. Cover the inlet pipe with a clean cloth so there could not be dirty.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cloth, install the carburetor with a new gasket on the flange and screw it.
  2. Connect the vacuum hoses to the body as per the identification of the carburetor.
  3. Connect fuel hose and secure the clamp.
  4. Install the drive and the starting gas valve. Tighten the cover of a cable according to the marking.
  5. Attach the return spring throttle lever.
  6. If so, screw the air filter holder.
  7. Set the air filter, see chap. The power supply system, the carburettor, fuel injection system, Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
  8. Connect the battery earth cable.
  9. If available, set the clock and set the security code radio.
  10. Check idle speed and CO content, adjust if necessary.
