Check engine oil level

The engine oil level should be checked every 1,000 kilometers, if necessary, topped up. At 1,000 kilometers the engine should consume no more than 1 liter of oil. More spending - a sign of worn valve stem seals and / or piston rings or seals.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. When measuring the vehicle must be on level ground.
  2. The engine should be heated.
  3. After stopping the engine wait at least 3 minutes to allow the oil sump.
  1. Remove the dipstick from the engine and wipe with a clean cloth.
  1. Insert the rod up to the stop and remove again. The oil level should be between the -L- and -F-. The difference between the upper and lower mark -F- mark -L- is about 0.8 liters.
  2. If the level is approaching the bottom mark, top up the oil should be.
  3. Oil is filled through the hole cylinder head cover. When refilling the desired type of oil to use, do not use any additives.

Do not fill above the -F-. Excess oil must be pumped out, as otherwise you may have damaged the engine gaskets or catalyst.
