Visual check of tightness of the cooling system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check coolant hoses for cracks, the solidified hoses replaced.
Hoses should be put on the nipples deep enough.
Check tightness of hose clamps. If you want to install instead of the previous clamps screw clamps.
If the coolant level often drops and the leak can not be determined, to make check on the warm engine. To do this, warm up the engine and leave to idle until the fan turns on. Track thus, performs any coolant in the water pump.
Explicit loss of coolant and / or the presence of oil in the coolant, and a white cloud in the exhaust heat engine are defective cylinder head gasket.

If the leak can not be found, it is recommended checking pressure. See Section Checking the tightness of the cooling system. Thus it is possible to check also the bypass valve cover.
